The Presbyterian College Speed, Strength and Conditioning Department is committed to providing each student-athlete with an innovative program to improve speed, power, strength, agility, conditioning, and flexibility.
Our athletes will train consistently, sensibly, and systematically over designed and designated periods of time, in a safe, clean, and professional environment to prevent injuries and enhance performance. We believe Speed, Strength and Conditioning is the key to a successful athletic career at Presbyterian College.
Weight Room Overview
The Presbyterian College Athletic Weight Room is approximately 2200 square feet. The weight room is a relatively new addition to the athletic department having been completed in 2004. The original layout of the weight room was:
- 4 Multi Functional Racks
- 4 Half Racks w/ Platforms
- 5 Power Racks
- 2 Reverse Hypers
- 2 Glute Ham Raises
- Jungle Gym
- Complete Dumbbell Area
- 1 Hack Squat
- 1 Leg Press
During the summer of 2007 we made some additions to the weight room. We now have:
